Arabayev was one of the intellectuals and scientists who fought for the freedom and independence of the Kyrgyz-Turkish people and contributed to the foundation of the independent Kyrgyz Republic. He created the Kyrgyz alphabet and made great efforts to conduct education and enlightenment in the Kyrgyz language. He did great work in the field of language development and education not only for the Kyrgyz people, but also for the Kazakh people and Turkestan. He dedicated his life to the Kyrgyz people, land, language and knowledge, and was martyred at the hands of his enemies.
